About

Jo is a Production Designer working in film and television and is Senior Lecturer in Design at the Victorian College of the Arts.  

Based in Melbourne, her credits include the award winning series Please Like Me (Series 3), Mustangs FC (Series 1), Upper Middle Bogan and Nowhere Boys (Series 1), comedy series The Katering Show (Series 2), Woodley, Little Lunch, The Edge of the Bush and Stories I Want to Tell You in Person for ABC and SBS’ The Family Law (Series 2) and The Late Session.

Film credits include Weedling, Elders, Oddlands, Polly and Me, Hammer or Claw and Hush.  She also Art Directed Kill Me Three Times and worked as Costume Designer on Foxtel’s Conspiracy 365, as well as designing a number of commercials and music videos.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from Penn State University.  

With a background in theatre set and costume design, Jo has extensive design credits for companies including Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir, Griffin, OzOpera, Legs on the Wall and ATYP, with shows that have toured both nationally and internationally.  Recent credits include the 2022 Melbourne Theatre Company productions of The Sound Inside and Cyrano.
